Mental Health Across All Types
I am SO thankful for good research, because good research informs how we lives, saves lives, and this month of May, Mental Health Awareness Month, also helps us to stay healthy in our minds, something I personally don't take for granted, especially since mental health issues run thick through my family - in fact, I was just reading my mom's idealistic valedictory speech and she was saying (pre-schizophrenia), how she wanted to JUST be there for her family but at this time, she did not have an understanding of her mental health needs, too, not just theirs.
At this young moment in her life, she could not fathom she would need wellness and self care also or to set boundaries, but her later journals reveal that need greatly, and she came back to full health and healing when she discovered this and got good clinical care as well.
In other words, if you or your family struggle, this episode is HUGE for hope, and ALSO to give you specific tips for which personality types tend to struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence, and ALSO, how you and your spouse or partner can help one another through your triggers and set your own boundaries.
For this episode for everybody (even if you don't struggle, someone in your life likely does), we are so grateful to be joined by Danielle Fuller, Enneagram 9w1 (9-7 pairing!) with her deeply scientific mind and engineering background + her MS in Psychology right here on today's pod. Danielle helps us to understand the trends and shares what types may fall into or be struggling with, even helping us to get help before triggers settle in.
Her episode here reminds us that if we can just take a couple of healthy steps ahead together as partners, we can prevent so much disaster in our lives personally and relationally!!
To keep your work going, she also has a discount for E + M listeners here for the Paired app (and she also shared she is not earning affiliate credits here, but she went out of the way for our community to get 25% off the Pro version at this link here!)
