Diving Deep Into Emotional Presence Together w/Dr. Merideth Hite-Estevez, 4

It can be downright scary to think of abandoning "ship" and heading into a heart of darkness to process emotion, and yet we know we must.

In life and in marriage, we need healthy rhythms for thinking, feeling, and doing indeed. But for many, even sometimes heart types themselves who get busy helping others with their heart issues, sitting with one's own heart in the feelings space, or even just a quiet or reflective space, can truly feel daunting.

And if there's also a degree of sadness, many will just say forget it, I'm out.

And yet dysregulation, unhealthy self-soothing, and outbursts of anger in parenting, marriage, and life can easily take over when we're not looking at what lies beneath.

Listen to this pod here with our creative, fun, warm, and brilliant guest, Dr. Merideth Hite-Estevez, Enneagram 4 (4-7 pairing), as we talk over safe but essential ways to process in the heart space, even if you're in the busiest eras of life.

Dr. Merideth has walked through the hills and valleys of rigorous training and academia at Juilliard, Yale, and other conservatories. she has performed with orchestras all over the world, taught students at colleges, and leads workshops and podcasts for creatives as well! (She reminds us that all of us can be creative, not just artistic Fours,
in her own new podcast series here and I was so happy to be a part of the Seven episode along with Molly Wilcox and Merideth's hubby).

Yet she also balances and knows the value of time in the heart and connecting space for herself and for her marriage and family, even in the "littles" era of parenting she's in right now.

Merideth and her husband, a minister truly encompass the beautiful adventure of their pairing, and I can't wait for you to meet her and learn about how you too can access the heart space healthily
right here with us! For added fun, we get to hear Merideth play her beautiful music in the background of the intro part of the episode!!
