Finding Our Hearts Amidst the Busy, Melissa Thompson, Enneagram 2

When you’re getting your pumpkin spice latte and all things Fall on, sometimes you’re so ambitious that it’s hard to slow down, even as you perhaps celebrate Labor Day or take a much needed Sabbath.

Other times you’re moving so fast, perhaps with kids underfoot or a ton of work.

When you do stop, you’re finding the rhythm is downright difficult and you can’t seem to be present in this season with an open heart.

We invite life coach Melissa Thompson, Enneagram 2 onto
this podcast episode to help us with this task of presence in relationships but also presence in showing up well so we don’t burn out.

Melissa is kind, strong, and great at serving, but - key to today's focus - she's also great at making room for her emotional work, which is both healing and endearing, a great example to those of us who tend to fly through life on a mission!

Over here we are ALL about learning from others who have strengths we don’t always lean upon, especially knowing there's nothing more important than a healthy connection together.

In fact, most of us can lean into a rhythm that becomes more ritualistic than refreshing, making spreadsheets, scratching backs, and washing clothes (or fill in with your own rote habits)...

But not stopping to fill the love tanks of our families or opening our hearts to just being present together. We may even be doing a spiritual bypass as well as leaving our own emotional lives unchecked.

Join us for this special episode as Melissa helps us to slow down on the road less travelled and make time for it all together - balancing the sorrows, the joys, the laughter, grace, and hope for healthy change!
