Hailey Brown, 9, on Family Ties & In Laws Issues in Marriage

All across the globe, the gorgeous hunter's moon has been out these past few days. In fact, I can see it waning this morning even as I type this note to you.

Before we had meteorologists studying this for us, symbols like the harvest moon and the hunter's moon reminded humans of the change of seasons and of prepping for winter.

For those still paying attention, we too can learn to prepare our families in various ways for the upcoming seasons and holidays, which we know often involves modern-day families in the thick of extended family issues.

This new podcast episode for you. This is a space for you to calmly prepare and walk out prepping yourself for not toxic but healthy bonds across the generations, and especially within your home.

As such, we've invited a wonderful counselor and friend Hailey Brown, LCMCH, Enneagram 9 to do this with us right
here.

As Hailey helps us to prepare, she talks about:

- Ways to get through the holidays healthier together with love,
- How to set boundaries and get self-care,
- How to balance your survival instincts together, and
- How to get social support for the journey.

Hailey has been counseling couples for a decade now and I've also been able to get to know her as an E + M certified coach also.

She definitely understands the nuances between types so well also, and even shares a bit of the inner world of her own pairing, the 9-5, and the journey they are on together. (They're pictured above as a family also!)

If you're used to struggling with extended family issues or expect them to find you once again this new moon, I'm hopeful that you'll choose to glean from Hailey's deep wisdom, faith, and the empathy she brings as she shares with us right here!
