Happy Halloween!

As much as we may want to run to fun on a day like today with all the treats, sometimes life throws us for some tricks, and loops, too!

And when we’re dysregulated, there comes a time in anybody’s life who studies the Enneagram when you have to decide whether, when, and how you’re going to put the tips to use…

You can keep learning and sharing with others, or you can truly learn for yourself, little by little. Learn more with our deep guides here!

I recommend that if you’re struggling to really integrate any of the teachings about your vice in or your fixation, you stop and give yourself some margin in your day to truly reflect on why that issue is especially hard right now in this season.

Take 5 minutes today to reflect.

Reflect on what’s making you sad right now…

If there’s nothing making you sad, reflect on what’s making you nervous or angry...

Perhaps you’re dealing with all three emotions and it’s OK to note them all, but…

Next, reflect on what is making you feel grateful and lighter. Write down 8 things in paragraph form to help you find some hope in this area, too!

Finally reflect on one thing you can do to help light up the world for others who may be down just like you were…

If you’re a person of prayer, pray about that and take a step towards doing it right now.
