Let's let Dickens remind us of our stance work!
It's that most “wonderful” time of the year when you're wondering how you're going to get everything done and yet leave some margin for you to truly enjoy, savor, and cherish the relationships that mean the world to you!
I get it and this is why I give myself just a little while to read Dickens' A Christmas Carol each year. It ALWAYS challenges me to stop and really look deeply into my life for a moment.
What has gone undone in the frenzy? What good could I do now that I'm not being intentional with? What would be the best thing I could do in the future? When we consider Scrooge's plight of being graveyard robbed after death, we remember even more - this moment in time is a huge gift to use well.
In this episode just for you, I give you a chance to ponder this with me in a fun, thoughtful, and meaningful way.
In a fun way, the past, present, and future focus also fits in with Enneagram learning!
I've got all the time orientations in my new book as well in detailed glossary points, but I'll summarize here. Often 4, 5, and 9 can worry and dwell on hurts of the past, often types 1, 2, and 6 can dwell in the present fluster and worry to much to see what's actually important around them, and often types 3, 7, and 8 are moving ahead so quickly they can drown out what needs to be processed.
Wherever you fit here (and most often we have a unique mix of these perspectives), I'd love to bring you into more healthy rhythms and schedules with yours right here!
Let's chat past, present, and future in this new mini-episode together for you now!
