Nurturing Children of Every Enneagram Type

In the earliest days of your parenting, teaching, or otherwise nurturing journey, if you're anything like me, it may have been strange to truly encompass the fact that kids are all unique.

I remember noticing my second daughter Melody being much less content to sit and read books with me quietly the way Hannah did as a toddler.

Just as soon as she had agency, she instead wanted to touch and feel the books, tear at the Eric Carle and Pat the Bunny pictures, ripping the pages she was indeed tired of seeing day after day. (Turns out she was a justice type, and she felt it was rude to keep sharing the same books, whereas Hannah loved looking to the past again and again!)

It took me awhile to learn, but when I did, the learning never stopped. It's now a marvel to see that though sometimes the gifts do overlap in generations of kids or friend or sibling groups, there are truly differences worthy of note.

In your quest to bring healthy and beautiful growth to the next generation, you too need to truly pause to look at who they are and learn how to nurture them right here on
this brand-new mini pod.

You also need to know the sobering stats that teens of today aren't doing as well by and large post-Covid (Pych Today, May 2023).

Largely they are dealing with the sadness, anxiety, and comparison features of social media, along with a feeling of hopelessness around the future more than in the past.

On this mini-episode, I’m taking you through each of the developing personality types in your children and how you can truly nurture and nourish them to help them to be healthier leaders and hope-bearers of their generation.

Type by type, here we discuss the very tangible things you can do to help them to find their place in the world with joy and with balance.

The goal is never for our children to think poorly of themselves or to be limited by typology but instead to find their own traps and stumbling blocks with compassion, so the journey is joyful and as smooth as possible.

I’m so delighted that you’re on the journey with me
right here!
