Processing Trauma Through Compassionate Inquiry with Jennifer Hurst, type 2

When we think of the 4th of July, often we celebrate the fanfare and fireworks but forget the underbelly of what it took and what it takes for systems to gain their freedoms...

Often there are war wounds of sorts, and even if you haven't fought a military battle, it's likely you have walked through something (or many things) quite painful.

Recently one of the couple's therapists in the Enneagram & Marriage Certified Coaches group recommended Dr. Gabo Mate, MD, and his great body of work on trauma and addiction.

Not long after, I met Enneagram coach Jennifer Hurst,
our podcast guest, who had done Dr. Mate's compassionate inquiry trauma training certification and paired it with her Enneagram trauma work...

On this brand-new episode, (Meet her here on YouTube, too!) we're thus delving into the best of both worlds -the importance of processing your wounds and also the nuanced work each type can do around trauma, specifically, the compassionate inquiries you can ask yourself as you're setting foot on the journey.

Becoming healthily vulnerable, resilient, and most of all, connected on a heart-to-heart level with those you love will be SUCH a gift to you and the generations ahead - your legacy is so precious and Jennifer makes it incredibly safe to delve into your story with strength + warmth - the gifts she brings as an Enneagram 2 so
take a listen here.

As you begin this week, remember that as busy as you are, you CAN do your own work gently and find encouragement so you can share the resulting healthy mindset with your people and find less anxiety and depression yourself!

Listen here as you keep up the awesome work you're doing right here with us!
