The world of girls and parenting with Nellie Hardin, Enneagram 2!

As we wake to another week, empowering the next generation is greatly on my mind.

For one, they are going to be caring for us, but more than that, far more,..

They are going to be doing big things in this world, and I'm excited for them.

Yet I know that building blocks are essential for great architecture, and I also know there are nuances for each child.

Today we get to talk to parenting expert Nellie Harden of Family Life about these nuances here on the new pod just for you.

We go over what she missed in childhood, how to stay open together so your kids don't keep as many secrets (this starts earlier and earlier) and reveal the very specific tips and ways she's empowering her crew of four teen girls right now, as well as her tips for all kids and parents as well.

In particular, Nellie (website here!) reminds us of an ESSENTIAL tip for keeping calm when our kids' brains are still wildly less developed in the frontal lobe than us. This tip alone, against a myriad of others, make this an episode you truly won't want to miss.

I loved sharing the architecture pieces I'm doing with my kids here too, but more than ever, I just loved gleaning from Nellie along with you!

Enjoy!!
