When the Glow Isn’t Shining as Brightly
I know I’ve had a lot to learn in the last two and a half decades of knowing Wes and a lot of the learning has come the hard way.
In fact, I’m still learning as you well know! Want to learn more about your type? Check out our deep dive guides here!
Even though I excitedly shared about my book yesterday, (And I’m still over the moon!) I have almost no qualms to say that, although of course as an idealist triad member, I wish I could. But the truth is…
I’m:
Still struggling at times
Still lamenting when I need to
Still drawing near to God
Still weeping internally or externally when we miss one another
Still longing for the fullness of marriage union
And still aware that we will never be the perfect couple despite getting voted that in high school!
Instead, I’m so grateful to have Wes, good friends, family, and systems to walk with me through the messes of life. The shadows do provide depth in these bonds. I’m so grateful God’s mercies and strength are renewed daily. We truly heal in sleep, too.
And I’m so grateful for writing a resource that will help us to grow and glow even more. And honestly, I will be using my book as a resource as well since Wes has agreed to go through it with me and I’m excited for that. Want to learn more about your Glow? Check out our Glow Guides here!
He heads a lot of it and made a website for us but did not edit this book like he did my others as I had the professional team.
Therefore, I am genuinely going to be walking through it with him for the first time about the same time you do so we can walk through together!
That said, be encouraged this week, if you too have noted that life isn’t always perfect.
You are NOT alone if you can’t always find the flow and the glow.
You are still in process and that makes life interesting, deep, and rich. It builds intimacy between friends who can admit this.
As you know. life’s storms and clouds bring you such compassion and truly a fiercer and more tenacious fire as you journey with me right here!
